Overview
IA Free is the practical implementation of the
Initiative Analysis method — designed to make the
logic of the market visible and measurable.
IA Free is not a trial version but a complete tool that
allows you to see the market from a new perspective: to
understand the initiative of each side and
to build your own scenarios without relying on external signals.
The indicator helps
forecast initiatives — determining which side is likely to take control of the market, buyers or sellers — and
identify potential price targets.
Each initiative in IA Free has a
beginning and an end, both in time and price.
The indicator marks the
upper and lower boundaries of each initiative, which serve as
key reference points for analyzing the current context.
Initiative forecasts remain on the chart even if the movement did not materialize.
This allows traders to
evaluate the strength of both sides, see
where market balance has shifted, and identify
potential correction targets.
IA Free enables traders to
read the market systematically — through initiatives, targets, and areas of influence between buyers and sellers — and to make decisions grounded in
logic, not emotion.Chart Elements
Buyer and Seller Initiatives- Green background → Buyer initiative (target plotted above).
- Red background → Seller initiative (target plotted below).
(Colors are customizable in the settings.)Key Price Levels- Bottom edge of the green zone = potential demand/support.
- Top edge of the red zone = potential supply/resistance.
- Green line = buyer’s forecast target.
- Red line = seller’s forecast target.
Key Candles- KC: the highest-volume candle inside an initiative that develops into a trend. Determined only after the initiative is formed and remains unchanged thereafter.
- IC : the highest-volume candle inside an initiative within a sideways range. It may change within the initiative: each new candle with higher volume inside the same initiative becomes the new IC.
Interpretation:
- If the last Key Candle is KC → the market is trending.
- If the last Key Candle is IC → a sideways range is forming.
- If initiative and Key Candle are on the same side (e.g., buyer initiative + buyer KC/IC with strong spread), this increases the probability of continuation.

IA Pro indicatorUsage Guidelines
IA Free provides a forecast of direction and target, as well as false breakout patterns, but the trader must confirm the strength of the active side on both the chart timeframe and the higher timeframe using their own methods. Examples include: volume analysis (buyer and seller zones, high-volume candles), market structure (initiative edge, which side holds initiative), oscillators, etc.
QuickStart Checklist
- Identify the Initiative (buyers or sellers) and note the projected target. Understanding who controls the market and where it aims is the foundation of any scenario.
- Check higher timeframe (context). Ensure higher timeframe (e.g., daily) does not contradict the initiative of your chart timeframe (e.g., hourly). If higher TF shows seller zones, buyer trades are riskier.
- Confirm initiative strength. Look for signs: KC/IC candles, spread, wicks, high-volume bars, absorption, defense of initiative edge on volume spikes.
- Define your entry trigger. This may be an initiative retest, breakout/false breakout, candle pattern, or oscillator signal. The indicator gives context; entry is part of your system.
- Manage risk. Always use stop-loss when trading with leverage. Take partial profit at IA target or 50% of the initiative range. Trail remainder along structure (e.g., initiative edge or key level defense).
To assess volume, you can use a free volume-filtering indicator:

It helps you see which candles are accompanied by increased activity from buyers or sellers.
Practical Scenarios
💡 Remember: Practice is the key to understanding. The more you apply IA Free and observe, the faster your skill and confidence grow.
Trade Execution- Buy: buyer initiative + signs of buyer strength (see QuickStart checklist) → enter below 50% of buyer range.
- Sell: seller initiative + signs of seller strength (see QuickStart checklist) → enter above 50% of seller range.
- Initiative edge protection increases continuation probability.
- KC in trend or IC in range + wide spread and short wicks = high chance of initiative follow-through.
- Uncertainty (transitional phase, overlapping initiatives) → best to skip.
Asset Analysis and Selection🔹
Multi-timeframe ReviewStart with the higher timeframes (daily, weekly, monthly) to understand the overall market context — whether it’s trending, ranging, or in transition.
- If both the daily and hourly charts show the same initiative (for example, both support buyers), the chances of reaching the target are higher.
- If the daily and hourly charts contradict each other, and the daily does not confirm the setup from the hourly, the probability of success decreases.
💡Why it matters: the higher timeframe sets the background. It’s better to trade in its direction.
🔹
Asset ScanningGo through several instruments in a row and shortlist the most promising ones.
Example: if multiple assets show buyer initiatives and strong KC on the hourly charts, and the daily timeframe does not oppose buying, these assets can be your focus for long opportunities.
💡Why it matters:- Saves time — you quickly find strong assets instead of choosing randomly.
- Concentrates capital where the odds are higher.
- Builds awareness of market synchronization — simultaneous buyer/seller activation across assets strengthens the move.
🔹
Historical TestingRewind the chart and replay past initiatives. Observe how often the targets were reached, how the price reacted to KC/IC, and what happened when the edge of the initiative was defended.
💡Why it matters: by observing past initiatives, you start to see recurring patterns and setups. This develops your skill and helps you recognize similar situations faster in live market conditions.
